As of 2011, Anthony has been studying numerous styles of martial arts for over 30 years. His primary experience has been in karate, boxing and kickboxing, Greco-Roman, freestyle and catch wrestling, with additional training in judo, savate, muay thai, Filipino martial arts, Jun Fan Gung Fu, sombo and combat sombo, MMA, BJJ, Combat Jiu Jitsu and WWII combative methods.

Anthony has achieved the ranks of ShoDan in Ishinryu karate, 1st Kyu in Bushinkai karate, 1st Degree black belt in kickboxing, 1st Kyu combat sombo, Apprentice Instructor (Hatmaker Combat Systems), (Former) Apprentice Instructor in Jeet Kune Do and Filipino martial arts, 2nd Kyu in Combat Jiu Jitsu and 5th Kyu in judo.

As a junior and cadet he participated in various competitions, winning several club and national titles in both kata and kumite (Karate).

As a senior he has competed under both amateur and professional rules in Kickboxing, luta livre (winning 1st Place and a European Championship), No Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (placing 2nd in Europe), submission wrestling, amateur Pancrase, and amateur mixed martial arts competitions, and has accumulated a fight record of 17 fights (12 wins, 2 draws, 3 losses).

Anthony also holds various fitness based qualifications and previously worked as a full-time fitness instructor and personal trainer for a number of years. He presently teaches small group and private sessions in canonical and neo-Bartitsu methods and the component arts at his home in Stanford Le Hope, Essex, United Kingdom.
